How to make it super for women

Yet another article highlighting that women receive far less superannuation then men. Our superannuation system does not take into account that women take  extended career breaks to care for family members and this has an ongoing impact on their ability to earn money and be promoted in higher paid jobs. In addition women are more likely to be employed in feminised industries that pay less. All these barriers to equal employment and equal pay mean that women are entering retirement with insufficient funds to be economically secure in their old age.
